Cindy, Ian & Family,
I too am the mom of a special needs child, only my son had severe asthma. I can understand the bag and never leaving home without it, only ours also including a breathing machine (nebulizer). Thankfully he has pretty much grown out of it as he has become an adult. I only wish the same for you!
Cindy, I remember you well from school. I remember the sweet, smart, funny, determined and very caring girl you were, and it is obvious that you haven't changed. God gave Ian to YOU because it takes a special kind of lady to do what you do and to go to the lengths that you do to safegaurd your family.
As a (retired) nurse, I fully uinderstand what Ian goes through. Does he have a pump?
I will donate this month to JDRF in Ian's name and will add him to the prayer list again at church. God Bless you all! ~Chris~
